2026 Planning Committee

The purpose of the planning Committee is to co-ordinate, plan and execute all activities leading to the successful delivery of the 2026 African Cultural Festival.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a detailed project plan for AfricFest

  • Organize and coordinate event logistics (venue, vendors, permits, equipment, etc.)

  • Manage volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling

  • Coordinate entertainment, programming, and cultural performances

  • Execute marketing, promotions, and social media campaigns

  • Liaise with vendors, artists, community groups, and sponsors

  • Monitor the event timeline and report progress to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Crowned Creations Association
